Wedding Invites for a dear friend of mine. They were printed on porcelain cover stock curiosity of Brodock Press.I hand drew the illustrations and painted a subtle background with watercolor. I also hand drew the capital letters of the bride and the groom.

I was inspired by the pure emotion that this elderly man is expressing/and or lacking. His eyes are piercing. There is an abundant array of color and wonder going on all around him and he fails to see the beauty in life and instead hides and stays unawakened in a lonely spirit.

I wanted to push the fashion forward with our boxes and make sure I include the purpose of our boxes by not only illustrating the women but the jewelry as well. This is a hand drawn colleagued design. I used tracing paper and I ripped a larger drawing i had into pieces to make the black shapes. I'm going to extend this drawing horizontally, add more circular drawings and possibly a building in the background. I love experimenting with layers and textures.
